How do I customize my bottle?
Customizing your thermo flask, thermal bottle, thermal coffee and tea mug, thermal tumblers (Drinkware) or your food thermos is very simple. You just have to choose the model you like the most and add the text or icon you want directly from the website's customizer. You will see a preview on screen before confirming the order.
How will the engraving look on my thermos?
Laser engraving removes the colored layer and reveals the stainless steel, which is why the finish usually appears in a metallic (silver) tone, clean and permanent. This finish applies equally to stainless steel bottles, thermal mugs and tumblers, and food containers.
What types of customization can I choose?
You can engrave text, names, or icons available in our online catalog.
For businesses (B2B), we also laser engrave logos on thermos bottles, mugs, or thermal cups, as well as food jars. If you want something special, such as a logo or a design outside of the visible options, write to us at info@latermoteca.com and we will help you from the studio.
Where is laser engraving done?
All engravings are made in our atelier in Madrid, with professional laser technology and great care in every detail.
We personally take care of the entire process, from design preparation to final finishing. This allows us to review each piece one by one and ensure that the result is as special as the person who will use it.
Why can't some products be customized?
Some thermos models cannot be personalized because their finish or material could be damaged during laser engraving.
At La termoteca, we pay attention to every detail and prefer to maintain the quality of the product rather than risk a poor result.
If an item cannot be personalized, you will see it indicated directly on its product page. If you have questions about a specific model, write to us at info@latermoteca.com and we will advise you from the atelier.
Can I request a proof or preview before engraving?
No, we do not send previews. Designs are engraved directly based on what you have customized on the website. Therefore, we recommend carefully reviewing the text and typography before confirming your order.
Can there be differences between the on-screen design and the final engraving?
Yes, laser engraving is done piece by piece in our workshop in Madrid, and there may be slight variations in tone or position inherent to the process and the material, without affecting quality.
Shipping and delivery times
When will my order arrive?
Orders are shipped via Correos and, once dispatched, usually take about 48-72 hours within mainland Spain.
As soon as your order leaves the workshop, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number, which you can also check in your personal area.
Track your shipment using the tracking number from your personal area or with Correos (www.correos.es).
Please note that if your product includes engraving or personalization, preparation time may vary depending on the workload in the workshop, as we handcraft each piece.
For corporate orders of thermoses and thermal bottles, delivery times depend on the volume: tell us your target date and we will assess it.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
For now, we do not offer scheduled deliveries as it depends on Correos (the Spanish postal service), but if you have an important date, you can write to us at info@latermoteca.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Can I change the shipping address after ordering?
If the order has not yet shipped, we can usually help you. Write to us as soon as possible with the order number at info@latermoteca.com.
Returns, refunds, and warranties
Can I return or exchange a personalized item?
Personalized food and beverage thermoses are specially made for you and cannot be returned or exchanged, except in the case of a defect or engraving error attributable to La termoteca.
Please note that each laser engraving is done individually in our workshop and may present slight variations in tone or position, inherent to the personalization process and the material.
These small differences are not considered defects, but rather part of the charm and authenticity of a unique product.
This applies to thermoses, thermal bottles, thermal coffee and tea mugs, thermal tumblers, and food thermoses.
What if the product arrives with a defect or error?
If your order arrives damaged or with an error, please write to us within a maximum of 14 calendar days at info@latermoteca.com, including your order number and a photo of the product. We will help you resolve it as soon as possible.
What warranty do the products have?
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity and, where applicable, the manufacturer's commercial guarantee. If there is a manufacturing defect, we will fix it.
What is not covered by the warranty?
It does not cover damages resulting from impacts, falls, improper use, cleaning with abrasive products (or in the dishwasher if not permitted), natural wear and tear from use, or subsequent modifications (including customizations made by third parties).
Nor does it cover alterations subsequent to engraving or customizations made outside our workshop.
Payments and Billing
What payment methods can I use?
We accept Shopify's secure payment methods: cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, UnionPay), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal).
Do prices include VAT? Can I request an invoice for my order?
Prices include VAT. You can request your invoice by sending an email to info@latermoteca.com, indicating your order number and tax details (name or company name, NIF/CIF, and address). We will send it to you in electronic format (PDF).
Care and maintenance
How can I take care of my thermos so it lasts longer?
We recommend hand washing your thermos with lukewarm water, a soft brush, and mild soap, avoiding abrasive products or metallic sponges. Let it dry completely with the lid open.
Can I wash my thermos in the dishwasher?
It depends on the model. Some thermoses are dishwasher-safe, but others have finishes or coatings that could be damaged by heat or detergents.
Therefore, we recommend checking the product page for each item, where we indicate whether or not it is dishwasher-safe.
In any case, hand washing with lukewarm water and mild soap will always be the safest option to keep its appearance and the laser engraving in perfect condition.
Can I wash my personalized tumbler in the dishwasher?
We do not recommend it. To keep the laser engraving and exterior finish in perfect condition, we recommend washing your thermos by hand with warm water and mild soap.
Avoid dishwashers and harsh products: this will keep the shine and engraving like new.
How do I keep laser engraving in good condition?
Avoid rubbing against hard surfaces and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat sources. Each engraving is durable, but proper care will extend its beauty. This applies to both beverage thermoses and food thermoses (or solid food thermoses).
Can I put my thermos in the microwave or freezer?
No. Stainless steel drink and food thermoses cannot be put in the microwave, as they could damage the appliance or cause an accident.
It is also not advisable to put them in the freezer: liquids expand when frozen and could deform the thermos or affect its airtight seal.
Each thermos is designed to maintain the temperature of your drinks for hours, without the need for artificial heating or cooling. For food thermoses, a brief "preheating" with hot water improves performance when carrying food.
How do I clean my thermos before its first use?
Wash it with lukewarm water and mild soap. If the model is dishwasher-safe, it will be indicated on the product page; otherwise, wash it by hand. For thermal food containers (or tupperware), apply the same instructions.
Are your thermoses BPA-free and food-safe?
Yes, we work with premium brands that use stainless steel and BPA-free, food-grade components. Always check each model's product sheet.
Is it suitable for carbonated drinks?
Some models do; others advise against it. Check the product page. If you are going to use them, leave a little free space and make sure the lid is closed properly.
Does it sweat or condense on the outside?
Double-wall vacuum bodies prevent condensation ("no sweat"). If the wall is dented or punctured, it may lose performance.
How long does the thermos keep things hot and cold?
It depends on each brand and model (capacity, lid, thickness). In general, our premium thermoses keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours, unless the product sheet indicates different values. For food thermoses, heat retention usually ranges from 4–12 hours (consult the specific product sheet for more details).

Do you have office hours?
We check emails Monday to Friday, during business hours (Madrid, Spain). If you write on a weekend or public holiday, we will reply as soon as we return to the atelier.

Yes, we engrave logos and corporate designs using professional laser engraving, ensuring a clean and permanent finish.
What file format do you accept for logos?
We prefer vector .SVG format for the best results. If you only have JPG/PNG/PDF, please write to us and we will review it.
